Howdy folks!
Just got an '85 Pininfarina Azzurra, 77K miles. Traded my Swedish gal in for a new Italian sweetheart. Actually, straight traded a nice running '99 Saab 93 convertible (187K miles) for my non running project. It was sitting at a small dealership here in Houston for over 7 YEARS! Not running, just rotting. Shame!
After changing out the fuel filter, a couple of fuel hoses and plug wires plus a couple of necessary electrical repairs, it started right up! I then took it out of commission to do a functional restoration. It's currently on jack stands waiting for brakes, shocks, bushings, tires, timing belt, water pump, radiator flush, sprucing up, etc.
It's Corsa Red, Tan interior. Over time, I'm hoping to get it looking like the red Azzurra on this website's site logo. It looks to be the exact same model even down to the wheels.
Can anybody recommend a couple of really good, dependable, not so pricy websites for mechanical and cosmetic parts? I don't mind spending the money so long as I'm not getting ripped off.
Nice to join y'all's club! Below is a photo of it the day I bought it.

Hello and welcome from another Texan. There are many good parts distributers. Allison automotive has many specialty parts and here in Texas is Vicks auto sport and auto riconbi out of the Dallas area. I prefer the later. Quick and personalized service. Prices are very reasonable.

Re: Hello from Houston
Hi Herb,
Houston has a very active Fiat club with lots of great people, they are very helpful too. They have monthly meetings, hillcoutry drives twice a year, and other events. There is also an email mailing list with over 100 Fiat owners in the Houston area. Send me a PM and I'll put you in contact with them.

Re: Hello from Houston
Thanks!
I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Autoricambi and they were delivered THE NEXT DAY!
With the exception of a few items out of stock, I'd say these guys were pretty good.
Thank you for the recommendations,
Herb
