Hello from WA

Post by chefbdc »

I bought two Spiders about 2 months ago. One is a '76 that I'm going to restore first, and the other one is a '79.
I've been looking at this forum for awhile and am amazed at all the wealth of info.
Since both of my cars need major work done to them I'm sure that I will be asking a lot questions.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I'm in Federal Way.
Are either of your cars running? Don't forget to take lots of before, during and after pictures. Your own pictures can be a wealth of information as you progress on your restoration. Are you going for a total restoration, just make it safe and drivable, totally customized or somewhere in between?
If you haven't heard already, there is a Fiat Club called Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest. http://www.fiatnorthwest.org/

Neither of them are driving yet. The motor in the '76 is seized, hopefully just from rust...
My plan is to get the '76 safe and drivable first then get the '79 the same way while restoring
the '76. Maybe sometime we could meet up and you could give me ride in your Spider!

Thanks!
