I'm maybe the oldest Fiat lover to post here. I had one of the first 124 Spiders to enter the US. Over the next decade I had 2 Spiders, 2 coupes and a 131 all purchased new. Then several decades of darkness. That all ended about 13 years ago when I acquired a 2.4 Dino Spider. Years later it's now a show winner and has been in several magazines.

But now my 124 itch needs to be scratched again. I'd love to have a B series coupe, but have given up looking.

However along the way I stumbled across a cherry '80 spider. I can't say no. And yes I know they're arguably the worst of the lot with their heavy bumpers and emissions strangled engine.

I'm hoping this community can help me reverse engineer all the nanny crap the politicians forced on us and the pathetic job Fiat did in response.

I'm guessing there's a lot of threads out there to help me along. I'd really apppreciate being pointed in the right direction

Where do you hang your hat?
This one needs some loving as there is a bit of rust on it, basicaly a fairly intensive restoration.
