Hello...new member from Kentucky/1972 850 Spider
Hello everyone...and thanks for such a nice site! This is my first venture into the world of Fiat - I'm taking delivery of a nice 1972 850 Spider any day now (wiring being repaired). The year 1972 is special as it is the same year as my first car (at age 16 - a Ford). Now, I'm almost 50 and the Spider - which my wife and I discovered at a local garage sale(!) - is red...my wife is starting to worry! I look forward to learning more from this site - and contributing whenever I can, of course. Best wishes...Jerry

Welcome! I had two 850s as my first Fiats. Great little cars, simple as the Wright Brothers' airplane to work on. You're gonna love it.

Hey Jerry,welcome to the forum.Our Nat'l Fiat(FFO) convention is in August near Charlottesville ,Va.That would be a great place to look over some really nice 850's and meet the owners.Info at http://www.flu.org

Congrats on getting the delightful '72 Fiat spider 850. We have one too.
