Hello!
Thank you all for this forum! I've spent an unhealthy amount of time on it in the past few months. I recently bought a blue '75 Spider from Paook near Seattle, WA, as my first project car. I'm on the dry eastern side of the state and have been enjoying the sunshine with the top down. I'd better, because I have yet to install a new top with no holes! We trailered the car home because of a transmission leak, but my dad, his mechanic friend and I soon got it on the road. So far I use it several times a week for ~35mile round trips to the barn where I train horses. I stick to the highway, but last night braved the freeway for the first time on the way home from Yakima (~35 miles away).
The car is basically running well and getting about 25mpg on 92 octane. I've got an alignment scheduled for next week and am eyeing a stainless exhaust system. The suspension seems alright. I'd like to fix a few guages, redo the wood insert on the dash, correct the little bit of play in the steering wheel, solve a couple bitty oil and coolant leaks, then have the dings taken out and the car repainted.
Thanks again!
Kristi

Welcome, Kristi. I'll be down in the Spokane area for a golf week at the end of September. Hope the weather is good then!

Welcome. This forum is a fantastic resource so don't be shy about asking questions. I've learned a lot and saved a ton of cash following the advice of the more experienced forum members.
There is a growing number of Pacific Northwest 124 owners. That is a good thing.
Post a few pictures of your car when you are able. Instructions on how to do that can be found by doing a forum search.
