Hello from Seattle

I finally got a 1976 124 to restore 24 years after I bought my first one. I am loving working on it but could use some tips on the best place to get parts. Looking forward to learning more. Eric

Hello;
You have found the right place for help. I live in Seattle and own a 71 124 Spider. I use Vicks for parts and have some local mechanics that can handle brakes and timing belts etc. Let me know if you want specific names. If you can do a lot of work yourself, then there is so much help on this website. Gotta love the weather this week.
Cheers,
Bud

Welcome to another wet-coaster :wink: Two years ago when I bought my car I was a newbie. Thanks to all the help here I can service my own brakes, tear down the engine (and put it back together) and tune it. I have lots more to learn but given the age of our cars most of us have to be our own mechanic. I've only found one mechanic here in Corvallis that would even touch the car.
