custom 78 turbo

Post by 78spyderturbo »

Ok so after a long time gathering parts, and 6 months putting it all together here is the finished car.
It is a 1978 with a 2lr,Lancia Delta pistons and intake manifold that was modified to clear the cam sprockets, custom stainless steel down pipe and 2.5" exshaust.VW Corrado wires ,computer and distribuitor, police car oil cooler, racing injectors.
The block was Oringed, the crank knife wedged, balanced blueprinted, rods shotpened.
It is running 12lbs and goes very well.
I have owned my spyder since 1982 and have done many mods to it over the years. All comments are welcomed

Very nice work. Have you had the engine dynoed yet? It would be cool to see what the numbers are.
