Re: blinker
it counts for the Exhaust Gas light (I think it is 30,000 miles or so??)on the dash to come on to replace the o2 sensor, there is a button in the VDO counter unit that resets the count and therefore the light, I have had mine butchered as previous owners were not aware of this..

Re: blinker
Possible problems with blinker malfunction given what you were doing when it stopped working.
1. Accidentally disconnected the Turn signal flasher
2. Accidentally disconnected the Hazard switch
3. Blown fuse (#1 also controls all of your gauges, so that isn't likely the culprit)
A bad light bulb would only affect either the right or left turn signal but not both. Check to see if it is only one side that isn't working. Also, check your hazard lights. If they also don't work, you'll probably find that the hazard switch or a ground got disconnected under the dash.

Re: blinker
Thanks to this forum, my blinkers work
I was just reading and puzzled in why they have stopped working
Well here the hazards button pop out long ago,I was told a quick fix, shove a tooth pick in along side of the button and keep in pushed in, I done that, works great, well lord behold I lost my blinkers and here as I read this forum for days, come to see that it possible that the tooth pick was in the wrong place. Hahaha, what the hell. Anyways now I move this silly tooth pick over AND Blinkers , thanks to whoever note that I read it on
