Check and see if some one here is local and let them look at it. I have almost 5 in mine and still need a top and paint job. Mine is worth every penny to me and don't ever plan to sell so if you can pick it up for 6 with not alot of work. Go for it. You can find all the help you will ever need here. So we drove up to see this 'nearly perfect' 124 and it turned out to far from it
After he fought with it trying to get it started for about 30 minutes while I poked around (or *into* the cavernous puncture in the exhaust)- he finally gave up and I made him a significantly reduced offer. Alas he is holding out hope for a high price and my search must continue.
Onward!
