Just popping in to announce myself.
2.5 weeks ago I became the new owner of a 1980 (January 80 by the build tag) fuel injected, lord blue, 2000.
I am planning on restoring it to its former glory and hope to gain insight from here along the way (and maybe even pass a bit on myself).

Will do. I do know of one on Craigslist that is right up the road from me, but definitely not a parts car. i think its going to be a long process finding one. i dream of having the barn find experience. i'm sure the barn will have "see rock city" painted on the roof! LOL

)Depending on what you need as far as parts. Various states of parting out from what I have seen, but 200 bucks for a (most of) body doesn't seem too bad. Think there was one for 400 that had the engine also...

i try to scour Craigslist as often as possible but it wears me out. i wish you could do a nationwide search instead of region to region to region. it gives me carpal tunnel syndrome!
