What a year, we are mortified. Just hope they keep BV for the balance of the season, just to stick it to the baby millionaires. Culture changes take years, and extensive personnel changes too. Then it is time to clean house over the Winter. Pretty much the whole set of babies needs to go. They made a good start with the LAD. Lackey next. We are so pissed, I can't tell you how many people have stopped watching. The ad revenue must be down, because if the rates haven't dropped, the advertisers are being ripped off. I have a ticket to see the NYY at Fenway on the 11th; it will be interesting to see how they are received back to Fenway. And after all, in '66 they finished last and '67 first, so maybe that will repeat! (not holding my breath).

LOL! I knew somebody would mention the BoSox. Keep the faith, the yanks may falter yet--GO O's!! And it would be the world series champion White Sox--at least they look competitive on the surface.

The contraption coming out of the trunk is a spoiler--just kidding, it's a LED taillight. came that way from New York--I assumed to be street legal.

It's mostly stock, and mostly '72. Interior came with later model (post '78) seats, door cards, and dash board. As far as I know, the only engine mod is the 32/36 dfev I had installed a few weeks ago. The radiator will need some kind of repair/replace, although it does not leak--doesn't have the temp sender in, and the fan is on all the time. New calipers rear, drive shaft seal to the diffy, almost completely rewired including headlight relays and new ignition switch (thanks again, Denise!). VW wiper motor, tires, recent brake compensator, heavy-duty clean-up, and it really does run well, especially with the new carb. It's a bondo-buggy, though, so I don't like driving in the rain. The pictures make it look better than the paint job is.Image

But what the heck--it's red!

Hey-Denise! yeah, makes the luggage rack extra usable, doesn't it? But if I take it out, I got a whole in the trunk!
