After receiving a well written message from RRoller123 (thankyou very much) on how to upload photo's I have finally got my head around it and successfully achieved the uploading of photo's.

So here goes.....!
Dark blue 74 Spider which I have owned for approx 14 years. Car was restored but T-Boned at an intersection by a Police car which had run a red light. Long story short, 12 years later we finally have a car finished....sort of but close enough.
The idea behind the restoration was to rebuild the Spider to the European specs and enhance the car and spec to a 'fast road' version with modifications sympathetic to the era of the car (factory options or upgrades that were available at time).

Restoration, bare metal respray. New carpets/upholstery throughout. Will take some more photo's including the engine bay and interior.

Very, very nice. Curious why you chose 70-series rubber on the CD66s. 205/60-13 is a closer match to stock.

Will check the tyres, you might be right. I do remember it was hard to find a manufacturer that supplied tyres for a 13x7 wheel..... not so common. The tyres are Yokohama's, at the time I purchased these they were the only ones that could supply the tyre. Speaking to the 'shop' owner recently he said they had stopped making them!

Wheel arches have been rolled so they don't protrude and affect the tyre. You do raise a good point though, looking at raising the front by an inch as I do get body contact with the ground going from an angled driveway to flat. Also concerns potentially with stress on the suspension. Admittedly the suspension is fairly stiff so there is not alot of travel play in the suspension.

There are plenty of 205/60/13 tyres around, especially in the R-rated, semi-competition type of tyre. I run the Toyo R888 on my AC Coupe in that size, but Dunlop, Yokahama and Bridgestone all have similar offerings.

Thanks for the compliments. Thinking I am nearly complete in restoring and then I have something else to contend with....will it ever end?!

Will check the tyres tonight as giving the car a wheel alignment. You are probably right, they are probably 60 series. Will investigate the Toyo option for the future. I did like the Yokohama tyre as the tread pattern is a period look.

Also have issues with the wheels not turning at the same angle and the lock is fairly average to say the least. Turning the steering wheel at low speed does take some effort!.... Possibly will mean wife will not be able to drive it!

Would you believe..... Ferrari Dino. Preferred finer light, more flush with body work and nicer detailing, over kill yes but looks good! (assume same as Fiat Dino?, possibly so).

Ok Curly, you are correct 60 series. Picked car up from having final tune. Engine spins very quickly round to 6k. Very enjoyable, sound....possibly better than sex!
Car having wheel alignment done now and looking at the camber, currently 2.5 degree's. Will reduce to possibly 1.5. Also looking at reducing hardness of the yellow Koni's. Set at 2 turns in. Will change to 1.5 at front and 1 at rear. Agreed with engineer to lift front by 1 inch as well for now and trial.
