Hi everyone, I have a 2000 Spider bought new when I was 22, it has run very well, new top, new original color paint. On an everyday basis I drive a 2001 7.3Liter Diesel with 390k. The Fiat is my "toy" but I love her.
All good until one day it slowly ran out of get up and go and coasted from 70 to a stop several miles down the road. So it rested for a while and now I am troubleshooting. I have read Artique's wonderful Fiat manual and checked all the readings for Mass Flow, Fuel Pressure, temperature, and grounds. I even put a spare ECM in but nothing. I do know this, I am getting spark, and I have 12 volts at all the injectors. However I do not have ground pulse at the injectors. It will fire up but not enough to stay running I believe on the start injector which I also pulled and checked for fuel spray. So I am kinda scratching my head now. its time to run the hills on Georgia with the top down, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would check your ground wires on the intake manifold cover. If your looking at your engine from the front, there should be 2 ground wires on the rear(firewall) rightside bold of the intake manifold plenum cover. Clean and reinstall.
