I used to be member back in 2005 when my son first found this 1982 Fiat spyder in the local paper in Ogdan Utah for 500 bucks. We have sinced replaced and rebuilt the Front end complete with new front cross member. I spent $1,000 on a really cool top of the line stereo back in 05 from cruthfield that has since gone obsolete in the boxes in the trunk. The company I work for moved us to VA back in 2007. The car has sat in the garage eversince, It still has the greatest snow on earth plates on it. I was hopeing joining this would get me motivated to finish it and get it on the road. I currently commute 42 miles one way with a ford F250, V10 @ 12 mpg. This thing has got to get better MPG then that.

Hello and welcome back. I have parked my truck and drive the Spider to work everyday. I have a 86 mile round trip and have cut my fuel consumption in half. That was the reason I bought it, who would have ever believed it could be so addicting. I hate to drive anything else.
