79 spider in the PNW
79 spider in the PNW
hello everyone just traded my ford for a 1979 spider 124 couple of weeks ago and i'm glad that i waited to find one and not get something else. i have been looking for a spider for the last three months or so and one popped up on the web. jumped on it as soon as i saw the ad. drove almost 100 miles to pick it up. needs some work like most cars lol. but i cant wait to start building the car. i have a lot of ideals for my car and what i have been reading on the forum there is alot of good information. i will post pics soon ( like later today).

Hi neighbor and welcome !! We might have met in the Winco parking lot yesterday. I have a 1975 (green) 124 that I found about 2 years ago and have been slowly resto/moding it ever since. Feel free to email or PM me if you have any questions.

Glad you finally are a member of this illustrious forum. There are many contributing members who have a lot of knowledge. Your car shines up very well and I know that you are going to have a lot of fun as you dig into the mechanics. Very nice meeting you and your little girl yesterday. Before the Oregon rain sets in we ought to take out cars out on a ride on some twisty back roads
It also appears that you have figured out how to post pictures. I use Flickr but a lot of folks use Photobucket.
