Hello everyone, I've found this site while internet surfing and believe I've found my FIAT home. My name is Keith and my home is in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I have been a Fiat Spider enthusiast and "Restoration Specialist" for about 25 years. I enjoy driving a 1982 2000 series Spider while restoring an early 1968 AS series Spider. The restoration of this early car is a labor of love after searching the world over for several years for some of its unique parts.
One restoration niche that I've enjoyed for several years and can share is the renewal of yellow zinc plated hardware. It's amazing how many fittings, brackets, clamps, and misc. hardware exists on these cars (and most others) that was originally plated in yellow zinc. The renewed hardware really adds the finishing touch to a serious restoration.
I look forward to involvement with forum members both in cyberspace as well as in person when possible! I hope to be of help to other enthusiasts while I seek to enjoy the camaraderie and available resources ya'll may have to offer.

Hello Keith and Welcome! Some great driving roads up your way this time of year (except for the buggies ). There's a great covered bridges drive this Sunday http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... 16&t=20655 and the weather looks promising.
Re: New forum member from Pa.
I believe I'm going to dodge the buggies and meet up with the NJFIAT group for the Bucks Co. Covered Bridge tour. It'll be a little bit of a drive to get there but isn't that what it's all about? I look forward to meeting some new Fiat friends on Sunday.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 69 Spider and am considering restoration of a 68. If I go that route, you could become my new best friend.

My wife is from Lancaster and in-laws are still there. Its only 500 mi. door to door for me. Never did it in the spider.

Hey Keith
I also have a 68. If you need any info, I have all the related manuals, even the owners manual. Anything I can do to help in your resto project, let me know.
PS my mechanic (Canadan) visits his folks in Middletown often (my US parts supplier!)
