I replaced the 32ADFA with a 34ADF. The 34 came with a "ball type" linkage on the end of the primary throttle shaft, and for obvious reasons would not allow a direct hook up with the original linkage.Tadsdad wrote:johndemar,
Are you saying I can just buy the carb and not the 2 linkage kits?
Thanks,
At first I tried to simply remove the ball linkage off the 34 and replace it with the throttle shaft spring retainer from the the 32ADFA, only to discover the primary shaft was too short to allow this. I then took the primary throttle shaft out of the 32 and put it in the 34 so I could use the original linkage. It works with a 34ADF, but that is the only replacement I have experience with. I was lucky to find a simple solution. I'm sure others on the site will be willing to share their experiences with what ever carburetor you go with.
