if it goes, it's gotta stop

Post by rja »

got no prob w/the going; it's the stopping that's worrysome. pulls to the left when braking. right front wheel is dragging and heating up. pulled the caliper off the disc and 'pumped' the piston almost out and 'c-clamped' it back in several times. with dust boot removed. using the bleeder to allow piston to reseat. easy-peasy. when i try to reseat piston w/o using the bleeder; very difficult. (i.e.-trying to push fluid back to the master). very difficult. is this normal? have i a collapsing brake hose? :x or just a piston hanging up? left front grabs and releases perfectly. what say ye learned brethren? :?

pulled caliper, hose; pulled piston and seal and replaced. hose not collapsed, works fine now. :)
