FI car need help
My 1980 has been converted to carb setup, Can I remove the FI computer and all its wiring ?

Yes, no issues. Recomend taking your time as there are some that want to go the other way and would need a complete harness. The wires/bundles do fit through the fire wall, believe it is pass side as the computer and relays are located above the pass footwell.

I'm always puzzled why someone would remove the FI in the beginning?? Maybe unless to put on twin carbs...

would you consider converting back to FI? In my opionion it's well worth it, your car will have all the important bits already??

You should not have to change the head, the complete system comes up for sale from time to time and usually isn't that expensive, you'll find if someone is selling some FI bit they usually have the whole lot. Maybe worth holding out for a while to see if a system comes out, or put a quick post in the wanted section and see what you get?? My 2c worth ....
