You're just not measuring how much torque you apply

My name is Ray and I am a hose over tightener. I know it is destructive to the long term well being of fluid transfer systems. I just can't help but put that extra turn in the screwdriver when fastening a clam. I always regret that extra turn but I just can't help myself when it comes to hoses.

Hello, over torqueing buddies,
I read the article and my new quest will be about suitable clamps, stainless steel, removable, that would not damage my hoses, nor my wallet.
Not so easy to find.
But very interesting article.

the same for me, although it's only at home.
I over torque in private.
sometimes I quit for a week, a month, and I come back to it.
I know it's going to happen soon, 3 brake hoses to change, ie 6 clamps to resist...
don't blame me.
