Exhaust Manifold Stud Size

Post by RDSPYDR »

Does anyone know what size the 6 studs aware that are on the bottom of the manifold? When removing the manifold I found one was rusted to the point it was nonexistant and the other 5 snapped off when trying to loosen the nuts. Will be taking the manifold to work to remove them in the mill.

Thx

The exhast studs are 8mm. The nuts should take an 13mm wrench. I am asouming you mean the nuts that go to the down pipes on FI engine.

Welded nut trick...Perhaps you might be well versed in it but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. Great wat to deal with broken studs..
