First post, going back to the roots
I am posting here for the first time, I am actually going to pick up 72 spider tomorrow from Denver, bringing it back to Chicago. My dad built himself one of these some 30 years ago, this will be father son project.

Re: First post, going back to the roots
Hi there. Welcome.
This forum is a god-send when working on these cars for a source of parts and info. Most here have run accross just about every concievable issue with these cars and will offer their fix for the problem.
Great car to work together on. When I was 18 and my first spider, I had my dad out trying to sort out the electrical. He used to work on British cars(electrical) when in University and my 70 Italian car he said was about the same as the British efforts.
Hope you have a safe drive and get you and the car back without any drama.
Hope dad's memory is good eh...
Chris

That's so awesome. Keep us posted on the story to follow, enjoy your time working with your dad! I would love to do that some day. Post some pictures when you pick it up! Is it going to be a full resto? or is the car already in decent shape?
