Hello and looking for a Spider

Post by sfroberts »

Hi,
This site looks to be great resource.
Just sold my race car(E30 BMW) so I need something cool to play with and keep my hands dirty too.
Was looking for an MGB, lots around and available in BC. Cheap and easy to find parts....
Found a local Spider, a much better looking car and from reviews I've seen better performing too. Can't resist a sweet twin can either.
So I have changed my search to a FI 2000. I have no experience with carbs, though would not decline a good deal on a carb'd car.
Not a lot of Spiders around here, so will likely be picking one up in Seattle or Portland.

Well howdy neighbour.... Found a great site for info on these cars.
Just down the road from you,(Summerland),shop is anyway, house is the other side of OK Mt. Park
I have 5 of the things, however only 1 1/2 runs at the moment..
No need to go out of country, there is a decent fairly well sorted FI car for sale in Penticton. In my opinion and don't tell the owner, but the red painted steel wheel looks kinda hokey but he has the car running well and has a few spares as well.
Email at the shop okcustomcut@gmail.com and I can pass on Tom's # my shop # 250 494-4471
