return to here and little light

Hi,
been gone long time. Started putting wife's 84 pininfarina "again." I've forgotten how to post a question on another page than this one. So need help. I have found a tiny light hanging down from under the dash next to the ingnition switch and can't figure out where it goes. So, I need help with both. How to post on another page and where this little light belongs

You may have found the legendary "inspection light" that is more folklore than reality it seems. Can you post a picture of it?

It could also be the fiber optic light that illuminates the heater controls and fan switch. When you turn on your interior panel lights does your heater control light area next to the seat illuminate?

Thanks, all for your replies. I can see the optical light holder still intact with wires still plugged in. Will take picture, but I'll need help posting picture. "Eazy-smeazy" right! I hope I'll get it right.

Okay fellas. Got pictures of light. One side goes to back of optical housing. Other to ground. But it is not the optical light. Beginning to think it comes on with the optical light to illuminatie something near the key switch. You'll have to walk me through uploading pictures to where they should go. Gotta go to town and get some slicone and dog medicine. Back late thls afternoon. Thanks in advance for your help with this uploading matter.

went to photobucket tried uploading on old page I have. 6 times into a new album but nothing loaded even though the bargraph showed it was loading. I can email pix to someong if they'd be interested. My email is forestpark@frontier.com

Maybe try uploading the pictures 1 at a time, make sure they are .jpg format. It should work, I am stumped!

well got photobucket loaded. tried to send here as instructed by roller, but just got a buch of code as displayed in the post with photobucket in it. the pix are at photobucket under name canyondam and since they are pubic I am assuming they can be view by anyone.
