I had a 1980 Fiat Spider back about 24 years ago and lost it to a crash on the expressway in Houston. Lately due to a long list of events in my life I have decided to try and rebuild another 1980 Fiat Spider.
I am releaved to find this forum to help me in this quest. I will try to repay some of the expertise that I shall borrow from the forum with my own experiences in this project.
It looks like I might have to visit the area of trying to fix the frame, (hopefully) rather than having to find a doner car. So if any of you have had to deal with a car that was run into a curb on the right very hard please contact me or otherwise I might find your posts in the searches of the previous posts.
Anyway I am happy to join you and look forward to sharing our love for this beautiful little car. I would love to see every single one that is capable, to be back on the road again.
