here i have 2 differnt size pads, you can see the thickness
one box ( thick pads ) sayd front pads/ im not sure if they are or not, it some box i have gotten with a car
can some one tell what the differnce is and why

I believe the thicker pads are for the front and thinner are for the back. Be sure that they are not thinner due to wear (hard to tell from photos) Go here and search brake pads you will see differences

The thicker pads are fronts. The rear pads are thinner than the ones pictured. Also rear pads have a small nub on the outboard face of the backing plate to engage the caliper piston.
The thinner pads are also fronts, but may be for a different application/car. If you install them, the caliper piston will be further out and the chance of the pads wearing unevenly or not seating properly will be increased.

I think those are front pads for another fiat model with thicker rotors or a caliper with a shorter piston. Regardless they are too wide to fit into the rear calipers. The rear Fiat 124 pads have a friction compund that is very thin, less than 5mm.

Well all the brakes pad have been replaced with all new
Bled them, they are working great , just waiting for the starter and lite kit from mark
