Re: 79 Spider Hazard Switch
The link for this article no longer appears to function. Is there a PDF or another link that works for this topic? I would like to try and repair a spare non-functioning hazard switch i have.

Same here. Mine worked in my brand new (to me) 81 Spider, and it broke suddenly when I lightly touched the console with my knee.Procrastin8 wrote:The link for this article no longer appears to function. Used to have a '73 2002 so familiar with the unreliability of this switch...

Re: 79 Spider Hazard Switch
I repaired the switch in my '80. Unfortunately, I didn't snap any pics of the process. Mine was an easy fix.
The body of the switch has some tabs. Use a pick or fine screwdriver to work the tabs free and the switch comes apart. There is a guide pin that runs along some grooves. When you push the switch, this pin locks it in either position. On mine, I simply bent the pin so that it would hold properly. Fixed
