New member prior 81 X1/9 owner

Decided it was time to get to my roots of car tinkering. Had an 81 X1/9 I bought new and had for 12 yrs as a daily driver. Did all work myself, couple tranny rebuilds and will never forget my slave cylinder replacement.
Searching the Houston area for a new baby to pamper. My wife just agreed it would be ok to park her car in the driveway.
I am beginning my search and getting my shop in order.
So glad to find this great site and have enjoyed lots of great reading.
Looking forward to sharing my journey.

Txspider, just saw your post but would love to attend a meeting. Actually actively looking to get a 124 but could use first hand advice on what comes available. But seeing some X 1/9's would be a real treat. When is the next meeting?
