hi kama my name is Chris I have been at fan of these cars since I was a little kid. Finally in a position to come up with a project car. I am currently looking at a 1981 turbo but the turbo has been removed body was from Arizona very solid but car requires many other items such as brakes and sorting out mini engine problems owner wants $2000 looking to offer him 500 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you very much

if you look back threw my post from last year I posted about a 82 turbo for sale in the area. beleville im sure its still for sale . keep your eyes on craigslist they pop up from time to time . but rarely turbos so good luck if you need someone to go look at it with you give me a shoot email me and I can give you my number around oct 2 2011 I will try to post the picture in a min

this was it when I test drove it last year . found it he drove it to work down town it was in one of the parking garages in Detroit near the court house I think near federal building he drives it to work in the summer good luck might I can help you find the garage if you like I thought I posted his contact info on the post think the title was cars for sale ? it needed work he has a triumph top frankensteined on the stock top seemed to be low on power for being a turbo I thought the price was a bit high but he maybe more motivated to sale now

1981 Pininfarina Spider 2000 Turbo(spider CSO-Turbo)
-Low miles (now just hitting 23,ooo)
- Fuel injected
-Five speed
-factory aluminum wheels(turbo style)
-Tires less than 3k on them
-Turbo intact and working
-new exhaust last summer
-runs and drives excellent , I have used it as a everyday car all summer
-no rust ,car was from california
-new hoses and other parts
-Gas gauge will go to empty when you get to half full (I have been getting 29mpg)
-will need a new top (unless you only drive when its nice)
-will need a repaint - metbrown once a popular color.
-I am asking $7,600.

I needed to replace a couple of light bulbs so I went to Advance Auto Parts after work. Guess who I found looking at my '81 in the parking lot? Chris, of course! Small Spider world...Nice to meeting you, Chris!
