I'm from Chicago IL, and will be loading up some pictures of the car. this car was a gift from my step father who can not work on cars anymore. He bought the car in 86 and had plans to restore it himself. my plan is to restore it for him so he get to see it completed. right now I'm looking for body parts floor boards inner and outer rocker panels and so on. Is the link below a good site to order from?
Or does anyone know of a better place?

You can probably find anything you need right here on this site. Look in the parts for sale section or post your needs in the parts wanted section. I'm sure you will get several responses.
There are also several vendors that sell parts. You can try:
Mark Allisons
Auto Ricambi
International Auto Parts
Vic's
Spider Point
AW Auto Parts

I'm sure I missed somebody. Just ask here on the site

>I'm from Chicago IL,

There is a pretty active Fiat group in Chicago, you may want to hook up with them.
Knowing people locally that have parts cars may be invaluable :-)

ok stupid question. But, why is there a rubber dounut inbetween the trans and driveshaft? And, will that be a problem with a higher preformance engine and trans?

it's a guibo...flex joint. Relatively inexpensive to replace and it's something you want to be right.
All the usual vendors sell them and I believe there are ones for high performance available.
