Hello all,
Thought I have seen all the problems in my 1980 Fiat but this new one just happened. When I turn on my headlights
they do not come on but the alternator light does. Parking lights work fine.
Has this happened to anyone out there.
Many thanks!
Mark

Re: headlight issue
Does this happen to any other accessories, like heater fan or wipers?
It sounds like there is a corroded connection somewhere, likely at the ignition switch connector. Check the 6 prong plastic connector for signs of getting hot (turning brown/melting).

Re: headlight issue
Hello,
Yes the wipers are not working. They just make a clicking noise that is coming from under the passenger side.
I am going to check the grounds and the ignition switch connector as well.
Thanks for the reply!
