Hello from Vermont

Post by VermontMatt »

Just bought a '78 Spider, starting to work through the "to-do" list. Amazingly for this state it seems to have almost no rust! Starts and runs, but will be a long journey to get it into condition to take my wife out on date in it (familiar story here, I know!) I had an MGB 30 years ago, and used to do shade-tree mechanic work on my american cars before computer controllers were common, but this is my first Italian fling and first time holding a timing light in decades. Here goes nothing.

Welcome aboard.

There are a bunch of Spiders in New England - although Google Maps says you are almost 3 hours from me.

Welcome aboard! You will find plenty of knowledgeable and friendly people here.

Keep an eye out for Tutto Italiano at the Larz Anderson in early August. Great show for Italian cars.
