Waiting is the hardest part

Post by papadopalas »

Hi all, Just won a 79 spider on ebay last week and waiting 3 weeks to have it shipped from Dallas to Southern Maryland is killing me. I bought a 78 about 25 years ago and have wanted another ever since. ( wish I still had the 78 like I wish I still had all those comic books my mom threw out when I was young) Anyway, I'm glad I found this site. I have a feeling I'll be on it frequently. I'll try to post the ebay photos. (if I can figure out how) Keeping my fingers crossed it's as nice as it looks in the pictures.

Congratulations! When you have a chance log onto your local club, DCFiats.org. Lots of things going on in the area. I hope to see you and your new car at one of our events.

Hello and Welcome! I'm sure your new car will bring back plenty of fond memories.

Your photos (and e-Bay screenshots, etc.) must be on a photo-sharing site like Photobucket to be linked in your postings. http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5074 This tutorial needs updating, but the principle is unchanged.

Check out http://www.dcfiats.org/. One of the ringleaders lives in Annapolis, and might be able to hook you up as a passenger for our next drive. It's one I've hosted for the last couple of years, and includes some of the most scenic and smooth blacktop in suburban Maryland. Sunday, Aug. 4.

There are two vintage Fiat-specific garages in the Balto/Wash area, and plenty of folks willing to help you enjoy your new/old car!
