Just purchased a 1978 Spider...dark green.

Loving the car so far...relearning on how to work on classic vehicles again.

i plan to be very active on this forum...as this is my mid-life (crisis) project.

i think i will call her the Green Mile

Welcome indeed to the forum. I have a 1975, also in dark green that I bought about three years ago. This forum has been a godsend to me. To date I've replaced the braking system, rebuilt the diff, added Mark Allison's Computronix ignition system, upgraded the carb to a DFEV 32/36 and I've done a lot of electrical re-wiring. All done to make the car more reliable and enjoyable to drive daily. I am retired so I can't say this is my mid-life. Certainly not a crisis

You'll find a lot of invaluable advice here. Ask away and do post pictures.
