Hi from Cherry Hill, NJ
Hi from Cherry Hill, NJ
I just bought a '71 850 Sport Spider, and I am hoping to do as much of its maintenance on my own as I can. I have owned other sports cars, but I was drawn to the 850 this time around because I've always liked its looks, and thought it would be elemental enough that a mechanical novice like me could learn to handle most of its routine work.

Hi DRN,
Our NJ group is mostly 124's but all Fiats are welcome. There was another 850 around but I think he moved to Texas.
Take a look here: http://www.njfiats.org/
We have our monthly breakfast this Sunday morning at 8:30 at Mastories in Bordentown. Come on by.

Welcome Cherry Hill!! I'm not the guy referenced above that moved to Texas. However, I do live in Texas now. I've also lived in South Jersey, North Jersey and Philly for 36 years. Die hard Eagles fan that has nothing but the Cowboys and Texans on the Sunday tube. Err.. a.. flatscreen. My wife worked in Cherry Hill for years. Deptford girl. I try not to hold that against her.
Post some pics of the 850 so we can see what your into.
