Hi guys and gals, I guess after a year of reading this forum I should introduce my self: My name is Paul and I am addicted to Fiats. Almost a year ago I bought a white '80 Spider 2000. Road testing it, I noticed the temp gauge was in the red zone after half of mile. The po told me it wasn't overheating, that it was the gauge. I bought the car and drove it 55 miles home without incident. I was either foolish, lucky or both. I'm only driving very short distances now, the gauge still moves into the red zone after a few blocks. No water in the oil, fan doesn't seem to come on, so you know what project I'm currently working on.
This forum is absolutely the best.
