My car is a 1974 124 Spider with the 1756cc.
I recently replaced the dual point ignition with a Pertronix ignition system. The car starts and runs great.
But the Tach does not work at all. It seems that while doing research on this conversion, other people experienced the same issue.
Any solutions?
Thanks

Re: Tachometer not working after Pertronix installation
Hi,
Similar issues with my Megasquirt instal.
I have not been able to get it running yet (keeps slipping down the list due to other priorities).
Here is an interesting link;
http://www.dinoplex.org/tachoconversion/
I have decided this is the way to go for me as All my efforts with Megasquirt have not worked out. I have a prototype board all completed and I am in the middle of testing to get it up and running.,
My early thread here; http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9321 some good responses for how the veglia tach works.
Good luck!
