Hola!
Just got my new Spider '78 this Monday, I bought it from a ladie that had it in storage for 8 years!!! what a beauty!
Anyone know a trusty mechanic in Westlake or Thousand Oak? I need a couple electric things done.

Good, just remember to resize them to max 750 pixels wide so they don't get clipped at the right.

Re: Hello from Westlake Village
Hello right back from Westlake Village. My office is on Townsgate, and I live in Newbury Park. Santo's Service is in Northridge and Santo does work on old Fiats though the shop's main focus is Alfa's and souping up new Fiats. I believe Allison's Automotive is the cat's meow for our old (I mean classic) Fiats. Only issue is that it's in Upland. Nevertheless, I plan to take my '78 there for all the serious work it needs.

Hi Trifle
I live very close to Townsgate, we might bump by going to the 101 one day, I saw Allison's webpage and they seem limited (loved the heather), check out Vicks Auto and International Auto Parts webpages, I have bought a few things from them.
Somehow I end up being referred to Santo and he has a fleet of "classic" fiats and Alfas. He gladly worked on getting my car smoged, fix a numerous electric issues with the dash, fan, carburetor, distributor (then I ran out of money ) He REALLY know about this cars.
I replaced the tires since the lady I bough it from ha it in storage for 8 years and the tires were all dry and cracked.
I restored the carburetor head and cooling fan rack (it was the easiest to remove) and I'm planning painting the valve covers and rims.
If you ever know about a car show or a drive let me know!
