Illinois Suburb Fiat X 19 Bertone

Post by scott1adams »

Looking for someone in the Illinois northwest suburbs to help identify a part number that I can use to replace the front end "air scoop". The engine overheats when we drive it. We believe this "air scoop" which sits close to the ground came off from a family member's parking job.

Welcome aboard, Scott! There are several members here that have both a Spider and an X1/9. There may also be someone on the xWeb forum might be able to answer your question since they specialize in X1/9. Here's a link to their site: http://xwebforums.org/index.php.

I don't think the overheating problem will be caused by something that is mainly cosmetic like the front plastics. Don't get me wrong.. appearances are important too but I think the overheating might be caused by something a bit more urgent.

Thank you for the replies. I will address the overheating.

That said, can anyone help me find the part number for the missing "air scoop"?
