Restoration

Post by plout4768 »

Hello guys'
I am new to the site and am currently having my 1979 Fiat 124 spider restored from a bare metal strip back. Restoration in finally phase, when I've sussed the site out I'll try and upload the photos.

Look after those motors
Plout :D

I'm very interested to hear and see what you have done. Was it a straight restoration? Since you took it down to bare metal, did you keep the 124 transmission or opt for a 131/132?

Baltobernie has a guide on how to post photos.

Hi Plout,

looking forward to the pics and your posts about the restoration. I had a quote on my 79 for a full restoration for paint and bodywork and it was $10-$15K - out of my league! Let us all know how it goes. Good luck!

You almost got it. You need to edit your post and remove the duplicate Image
