Road trip....at last

On a lark, i grabbed the spider and drove to my granddaughters birthday yesterday. 20 minutes each way down the freeway. Kept up with traffic easily running at 4k rpms. The glaspak gave the car a nice drone without being very loud. Temp and oil stayed steady. New 195/55s definitely gave the car a "track car" feel. much more harsh and exacting than the modern car. New Corbeau seats sit you high in the car. will lower them at some point. They are very comfortable. the high backs help with wind buffeting. Have a driveline tick i will need to solve. Cant say the trip was relaxing as this is its first road trip and still the shakedown phase. Was great to get it out and get some wind in my hair....or at least what hair i have left.

And it temp wasn't in the 100's! Yesterday was a perfect day to have a Spider in Arizona. Glad to hear you've got it back on the road - congrats!
