Hello all

I have the above auto runs fine but have a question this car is an automatic. the problem is i don't know where one end of the kick down goes i think to the trans but can i access with pan removal or not? the cable is messed up at carb end and have new one but hate to tear apart with knowing what i am getting into?

Phil you can put on a new cable for the auto trans without taking the pan off. I change mine a couple of years ago and took the pan off only to find out that it does not help at all. It must all be done from the outside. I do not remember just how it goes, but is on the left side of the trany and above the oil pan.

thanks but do you mean left side as you are setting in the car?

Yes Phil cars are like people when you are behind them there left is your left.

Phil I am sorry, but I mixed up my left and right. Yes the cable goes to the passenger side of the trany, the right side of the car. I realized this last night as I was going to sleep. I am really busy at work and could just get back to you now. I am looking at 12 or 14 hrs at work tomorrow.
