Ok time for some updates,

Purchased new early style Stainless bumpers from Spider Point with the bracket set , yeah right brackets don't line up at all... will now have to custom make them :(

Cheers David,
Anyone looking to buy these bumpers from Spider Point be mindful the bracket set at 130 euros does not fit the '79 models so you will need to be creative and make your own... just trying to save you guys some $$$

Excellent work going on with your Spider John!
I have a 71 124BS1 here in Adelaide and posted up in this section a while back. I am going through the same process with my top, so please keep us posted on your experience with this. I'm planning on doing my top next month and purchased a cloth one earlier this year.
Your car looks exactly like one that I looked at that was for sale here in Adelaide about 4 years ago at Salisbury?
White with the same colour interior, same pinstripe and same wheels. It was for sale for quite a while as I recall.
Cheers,

Thanks Terry,

I've had the car for just over a year now and been rebuilding it for as long... I purchased the car from a family in Sydney they claimed to have had the car for a few years...

Will defiantly post an update on the soft top install, will give it a go next weekend after the big car show in Melbourne, will have my Dino on display so it's one I can't miss.

Cheers
John
