Hi - I just moved to California from Pennsylvania and I* decided that I should get a convertible. I did a little research beforehand (probably not enough) and I ended up with a '76 124 Spider. It has been a solid daily driver that has a lot of interior work and a few other odds and ends to keep me busy.
I finally registered for an account on here after 4-5 different articles on here helped me start to get to know my Fiat. I've never owned one before, but I'm no stranger to turning wrenches and working on cars. I'm not looking to make a show car, just a driver.
Thanks again for the great info and I hope to have something to contribute soon.
* - my wife strongly suggested I get a project since I was going to be telecommuting for work.

Re: Hello from Northern California
Welcome - I bet you're glad not to have to deal with that Arctic blast they're having back East right now! You've definitely found the best forum for Fiat Spiders anywhere. There's nothing to fear with your mid-70's Spider - help and answers are right here as you've already experienced.
Maybe you could talk your wife into letting you have TWO Spiders - one to drive and one to show! If she says "yes" let me know how you did it.

Thanks for the welcomes SunnySideUp and RRoller123. Sorry I didn't have the setting turned on to notify me when people replay back to a post (I just thought you all didn't like me... )

If you click on "Board Index" and then "View Active Topics" you just see everything. There is a lot there, but it is easy to skim through.
