Very, very nice.

I am just about to start restoring a 1978 Fiat spider, so these pictures are a great inspiration!

Hard to tell, is it black, or dark blue?

Its black. I am getting ready to put a new weber on it next week. Doesn't need it but the new one comes with a chrome air cleaner. I will then take off the old exhaust manifold cowling which I don't use anyway. I have the original air cleaner on right now.

Hi, Casba, I really like your white 71. Particularly the French stitched dash. Where did you get it and was it hard to install. I put a new surround dash on mine looks good but Ilike yours better.

It is a used dash that was recovered by a upholstery shop, so it was as easy to install as a stock dash.
There was a shop in California many years ago that made these, but I don't think they are around any more.

Wonder if it could be attached to a dash surround and then put in place?

I would just show the pic to a local upholstery shop and ask them to replicate it with your dash.
