I've decided to pull the harness on my '77. Every time I get one thing fixed, another pops up. The PO "fixed" a number of issues that I now have to fix. Ugh.
Anyway, I've got Artigue's wiring diagram (big thank you!) and have one item I can't figure out. There is a red and black wire that comes out of the EGR bypass. It goes to a connector, and connects to a red wire that then goes down through the floor in front of the shift lever (has blue tape on it in the photo). Where does this red wire go? On the diagram it shows it going to 25, but I have no 25 in the descriptions? Thanks, I'm trying to avoid getting under the car for now.
Thanks!

Re: 1977 electrical issues
My guess is that it goes to the switch on the side of the tranny that is on when the trans is in 3rd or 4th gear.
