We live in inflated cost states too, and it effects everything.

Douglas,
I like your attitude and your car. It appears to be a post-1977. Hopefully the strut towers are good. The rest looks pretty reasonable so far.

Yeah, post 78.. You have the small hood bumps, and the 79 door handles... I have the opposite, large bumps (79+ hood), with the older handles on my 78..

Them Italians liked to mix things up.

I just wish they would have mixed mine with some better steel. http://i.imgur.com/d12xbst.jpg, http://i.imgur.com/XW8vCZd.jpg. The passenger side is serviceable, for some reason, all the rust is on the drivers side. A few small spots that can be easily patched are what's on the passengers' side.

I'm still evaluating what I've got, the fixing for me is kinda theraputic, (the wife thinks otherwise), I'm gonna' build a spit next week so I can roll it over and determine if the therapy is cost effective in this case. If it's not too bad, then I'll move onto restore to drive, then....?

Hmm. I'd be inclined to slap some metal over that rust, welded for strength, and look for a better body. You could drive the hell out of this one while looking for the better one. Cheap fun.
