I too am unhappy when posts here get personal especially when the tit for tat starts.

I have worked for nearly 50 years repairing and installing electronic and electrical equipment in general aviation aircraft. Too often we see aircraft in need of repairs related to safety yet the owner wants new paint and upholstery. If it looks good it must be good. I read that on the internet. (joke)

So there are some great looking Spiders that are not reliable running cars.

In my humble opinion, Fiat installed a good quality wire, electrical components and gauges through out their cars. Some of the pieces have failed over time. Keep in mind not many 30 year old cars are still being driven.
This forum discusses the more common short falls with our cars. As readers of the forum it is our choice whose suggestions we will use. Lets not comment personally on the ones that don't meet our needs but thank the one that we find helpful.

I love humor but I seldom use it in a chat room because it might not be taken as funny as I meant it.
