Ignition Key Switch - Removal

Post by ralphcap »

Instructions for removing the ignition key switch include inserting the key into the switch and turning it to the position marked (stamped) with an arrow. On my '81 2000 I am unable to locate such a mark. The marks on the face of my ignition key switch include the following: "0", "I","II","III" and some weird symbol that is probably intuitive to the rest of the world but not to me. I positioned the key on the weird symbol but it didn't seem to work. Any suggestion?

The key has to be horizontal.
