New guy here, Hi Y'all from West Texas. Also a first time FIAT owner. Purchased a 1977 a few weeks ago and loving it so far. Going to get a chance to mess with it this weekend. Have noticed a few thing that just don't look right so I will be posting some pictures and lots of questions this weekend. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Anyways looks like some great information on this forum and some really smart people. I look forward to your wisdom on Fiat Spiders.

Not sure how far you are, but in a few weeks (March 20-23) we will have a meeting of ~30 Spiders just south of Austin.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Spent the day messing with my spider and am just frustrated and be wildered with all the questions I have. So many things seem to have been removed or relocated or just don't work. UGH! calling it quits for to day, but have one question, what is a good repair manual to purchase? I am going to need one to figure this thing out!

You can get a Haynes manual fairly inexpensively and they are ok, not great. The factory manual has hundreds of pages and is the most comprehensive. They are available online for free as a pdf, if you search this site you will likely find some links.
